Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2018
Eating Disorders Awareness Week is an international awareness event, fighting the myths and misunderstandings that surround anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and EDNOS.
With EDAW fast approaching we’re pleased to announce that this year we will be concentrating on eating disorders in the workplace. Our Costs of Eating Disorders Report launched in EDAW 2015 placed an annual cost of £15.8billion to the UK’s economy and highlighted the importance of the whole community in our vision to overcome eating disorders and society’s role in unblocking the delays to eating disorder treatment. Between 27 February and 05 March we will be highlighting how anyone affected by an eating disorder can be best supported by employers and their colleagues.
